Beginners Balloon Classes

Pam Pearce is an established industry trainer and has been advised by Warwickshire Council that they can now offer Balloon Decor training at their Tamworth training facility.
Pam is offering classes on a 1-to-1, or 1-to-your bubble, basis only to minimise any risk to the students.
The fee for the course remains the same at £180 or £300 for 2 people (same bubble)
Introduction to Balloon decor classes start at 10.00am and finish at 4.30pm (or maybe a little later)
We will discuss the health and safety aspects of a balloon company and using helium bottles and the gas, balloons, accessories and equipment we all use to start with. and the options of upgrading to more professional equipment
Risk assessments, principles and elements of design and job costing
The course teaches inflating balloons and tying knots, as well as other ways needed for different balloons
and the skills of tying balloons together.
Hands on ( this is what you will do, Air and Helium Inflate 11" latex balloons and create bouquets and single archways (discuss all weights available and arch weights)Helium Inflate 16" balloons create bubble centrepiece and arch from them. Helium inflate Deco Bubble and add, a variety of items , such as 5" mini balloons, feathers, confetti, and write on them by hand
Air inflate Latex balloon bases and discuss other weights/bases too
Air Inflate Quick links and create Archway, photo frame and discuss Character displays
Air inflate, create and discuss balloon table and floor standing columns
We discuss and demonstrate air inflated different Organic garlands designs and show up selling ways
We discuss all the way through the course the importance of pricing and the ways of calculating it
to give you the ability to make a "profit" from your business
We discuss Bapia what else it offers and its public liability insurance
and different wholesalers across the UK
For safety reasons lunch can no longer be supplied so please prepare your own and please take your own drinking vessels for water and tea/coffee. Individually packed tea, coffee, milk etc will be supplied and there will be bottled water available from the fridge.
Hand sanitiser, disposable masks and gloves will be available throughout the day.
All products, most equipment, course notes and certificates will be put into individual trays at least 3 days prior to your arrival so please ensure Pam has your names for the certificates.
